CogniMeet's founding foundation is complete discretion and meeting data confidentiality:

• Native Audio Capture (No Bots): The software never invites or injects bot accounts into your Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or Webex conferences. Capture is handled natively inside your computer's audio subsystem (separate channels: local host microphone and system loopback).
• Secure Local Storage: Meeting transcripts, topic maps, action item matrices, and executive minutes are saved directly to an encrypted local database on your PC.
• Zero Model Training: We never use your meeting conversations, transcripts, or notes to train public AI models. Your data belongs exclusively to you.

2. Application Telemetry and Intelligence

Desktop software interactions with our backend are strictly limited to core operational duties:

• Authentication & License Validation: The client software validates active subscriptions and remaining monthly minute quotas via secure API endpoints.
• Encrypted AI Processing: Real-time neural speech-to-text and copilot intelligence loops operate over end-to-end TLS 1.3 encrypted connections with zero public model retention.
• Anonymous Diagnostics: If opted in by the user, anonymized crash reports may be transmitted to fix software issues.

3. Billing & Payment Processing (Merchant of Record - Paddle)

For international compliance and maximum security, CogniMeet uses Paddle.com as our authorized Merchant of Record:

• Payment transactions and credit card data are handled entirely on Paddle's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure pursuant to the Paddle Buyer Terms.
• CogniMeet never stores full credit card numbers on its servers.
